Mountain Dew takes a step further to salute India’s heroism and its real heroes. Last season, Mountain Dew felicitated four individuals who made a name for themselves. As an extension to this campaign, Mountain Dew begins 2016 with the launch of a new range of eye-catching, special edition neon PET bottles to celebrate the inspiring stories of Arunima Sinha and Shital Mahajan, Lt. Col Satyendra Verma, Ghost Ryderz.
Mountain Dew’s Real Heroes campaign narrated the stories of these real life heroes to inspire the youth to go beyond the conventional and emerge victorious. The campaign captured the thought and ideology of every Indian today, who believes in facing risks to reach his or her goals.
Speaking on the campaign, Nitin Bhandari, Associate Director Brand Marketing- Mountain Dew, PepsiCo India said, “Last season, we were overwhelmed by the response to the Real Heroes campaign. These heroes have gone ahead, taken risks and made their name, and have been etched in our memories forever. Mountain Dew has always been the original instigator that helps you break out of the ordinary. We will continue to inspire and encourage consumers to push boundaries. Our new special edition bottles have been designed to act as a constant reminder for them to not settle for status-quo.”
The new special edition bottles feature images of Arunima Sinha and Shital Mahajan, Lt. Col Satyendra Verma, Ghost Ryderz. This range of Real Heroes bottles will be available in 600ml respectively. Each bottle will also have a number that the consumers can call to learn more about the extraordinary feats of these real heroes.
